Why should I sign my Kids up for Safari Sports Cheer?
Our organization is customized to fit the needs of most families. We are affordable, convenient, our coaches & admin team truly cares about each kid and parent in our organization. We don't just say we care: We show that we care throughout our actions. We also have an open door policy where parents can reach out to our Admin/HR team through phone / text / email at anytime.
What if my kid(s) do not have any Cheer Experience?
No Prior Cheer Experience is needed with Safari Sports. 90% of the kids that Cheer for Safari came with no prior cheer experience. We are known for being a Developmental Cheer organization. Our coaches and Admin team has the patience for all skill sets.
What are the age ranges for participation:
Pre K 4 - 1st Grade: JV
2nd - 5th & 6th - 8th: Varsity

What is “Safari Cheer Camps”?
Safari Cheer Camps provide the fundamentals of cheer ranging from cheer motions, chants, dance routines, intro to stunts, tumbling and much more. Our Safari Cheer Chants range from 2-3 months + an End of Season Cheer Showcase for Family & Friends.
What is “Safari Cheer Leagues”?
Safari Cheer Leagues are our competitive cheer teams. Yes: It’s okay if your kid(s) do not have prior cheer experience. Experience is NOT required. We provide fundamentals of cheer ranging from cheer motions, chants, dance routines, intro to stunts, tumbling and much more. Our All Star cheer teams will perform up to a 2 min and 30 second routine composed of tumbling, stunts, pyramids, dance and cheer segments for the end of season competition. We have several Safari competitive cheer team locations and their performance will be judged at the end of season competition.
When are Cheer payments due?
Monthly Cheer Session Payments are due at the 1st of Each Month.
The following are for Competitive Teams Only: Uniform payments are due during the middle of the season & Competition fee is due the last month of the season.

What are the costs involved in Safari Cheer?
Safari Cheer Camps are only $60 a month &
Safari Competitive Cheer Leagues are only $60 a month for returners & $75 for new cheerleaders. Our Cheer Leagues which are our Competitive teams will receive cheer uniforms (Top, Skirt & bottoms) which is $150 & $100 competition fee. Payments can be made throughout the season.
Poms are required and will be available for purchase at our scheduled meet & greet. Poms are $25 and Safari Cheer shirts are optional for purchase and are also $25.
Can you use the same uniform the following season?
Yes, Safari Cheerleader can use the same uniform each season. You will not be required to purchase a new uniform.unless informed otherwise or if needed due to personal reasons..
How long is Safari Cheer Camps & Leagues?
Safari Cheer Camps range from 2-3 months. Cheer Sessions are typically 3 x Each Month with an additional cheer practice before End of Season Showcase.
Safari Cheer League range from 4-5 months. Cheer Sessions are typically 3 x Each Month with an additional cheer practice before the End of Season Cheer Competition.

How does Safari Cheer Communicate throughout the Season
Majority of our communication is through our Safari Parent Facebook group that’s assigned to your child’s team. Please join/create a facebook account once parent group is provided to you. We also communicate through email as well. We will send a text/email within 24-48 hrs once you complete your kid(s) registration which provides personalized welcome flyer & facebook group information to join.
Where is the End of Season Showcase / Cheer Competition?
Event will be held at “The Epic” in Grand Prairie, TX @ 2960 Epic Place, Grand Prairie, TX
Why does Safari Offer Virtual (Hybrid) Cheer @ certain locations?
We offer Virtual (Hybrid) Cheer at locations that we are expanding to. After the 1st Camp of virtual (Hybrid) Cheer, the following cheer league will be in person throughout the next season.
Do you Offer Refunds?
No Refunds. If your kid is unable to participate in their registered Sports League; You will be credited a registration for an upcoming Safari Sports League of your choice.
